These napkins or basket-covers are hand-wove of soft and exceeding absorbent cotton, with each piece showing the natural variation that attends the work of the loom. They have been washed and shrunk aforehand, and are thus ready for immediate use. Entirely proper for those engaged in the portrayal of the 18th or early 19th century, they may be employed for table service, the covering of baskets, or to lay over such articles as are not suited to the eye in a period setting. They serve equally well within the home, being both seemly and serviceable.
Each cloth measures near to 18 by 18 inches.
Be sure to take notice also of our hand-wove Towels and Wash-Cloths, offered in a pleasing variety of colours. You may mix and match them to your liking, to form sets both fair and functional.
