Jeff White Blank #12 (Roach Belly)

This fine blade blank hails from the shop of Mr. Jeff White, a smith whose work is well regarded for both form and function. Forged of high carbon steel (ANSI 1095), the blade hath been tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 59 (HRC 58–60) and brought to a finely sharpened edge.

This particular blank:

• Boasts a full tang and a flat-ground blade well suited for daily tasks.
• The haft-end is shaped in the manner of a French knife.
• Measures 6¼ inches in overall length, with a blade length of 3¼ inches.
• The blade is 3/32" thick (0.085") and ¾ of an inch wide.

Our hand-made Leather Sheath “1” is sized to fit this blade with care and precision.

This blank stands ready to be hafted. You may select from our sets of seasoned wood and pins, or apply your own material to craft a handle fit for your hand.
