Jeff White Blank #62 (Chef)

This chef’s blade blank comes from the shop of Mr. Jeff White, a maker whose steel is much admired for its strength and faithful service. Forged of high-carbon steel (ANSI 1095) and tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 59 (HRC 58–60), it hath been brought to a very keen edge, well suited for the work of camp or kitchen.

This particular blank:

• Bears a full tang with a flat-ground, durable blade edge 
• Measures 12¼ inches in overall length
• Holds a blade 7¾ inches long
• Is 3/32" thick (0.094")
• Is 2 inches in width 
• Our hand-made Leather Sheath “A” is cut to fit this broad chef’s blade with proper care.

This blank stands ready for the setting of a handle. Do remember to look upon our other useful wares:
