Jeff White Blank #49 (French Patch)

This neat little blade blank comes from the shop of Mr. Jeff White, whose steel is well regarded for holding a fine, faithful edge. Forged of high-carbon steel (ANSI 1095) and tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 59 (HRC 58–60), it hath been sharpened to a very keen finish and stands ready for the fitting of a proper handle.

This particular blank:

• Bears a full tang with a flat-ground, durable blade edge The haft-end is shaped in the manner of a French knife
• Measures 5 inches in overall length
• Holds a blade 2¼ inches long
• Is 3/32" thick (0.094")
• Is ⅝ inch in width
• Our hand-made Leather Sheath “L” is cut to fit this blade with care and accuracy.
