Jeff White Blank #10 (Sailors - Sheepfoot)

This blade blank was made in the shop of Mr. Jeff White, a smith well known for his sturdy and honest wares. Forged of high carbon steel (ANSI 1095), the blade hath been tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 59 (HRC 58–60) and sharpened to a most keen and serviceable edge.

This particular blank:

• Features a full tang with a flat-ground edge, built for strength and lasting use.
• The handle end is shaped in the fashion of an English knife.
• Measures 7 inches overall, with the blade itself being 3 inches.
• Blade thickness is 3/32" (0.085"), and the width is 1⅛ inches.

Our hand-made Leather Sheath “1” is cut and formed to suit this blade with care.

This blank is ready for the setting of a handle. You may fit it with one of our well-prepared wood sets and pins, or use your own materials as you see fit.
