Jeff White Blank #48 (Patch Hidden Tang)

This small yet sturdy blade blank comes from the shop of Mr. Jeff White, whose work is well trusted among woodsmen and travelers alike. Forged of high-carbon steel (ANSI 1095) and tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 59 (HRC 58–60), it hath been sharpened to a very fine edge, ready for whatever task you put it to once a proper handle is set upon it.

This particular blank: 

• Bears a hidden tang with a flat-ground, durable blade edge
• Measures 5 inches in overall length
• Holds a blade 2⅜ inches long
• Is 3/32" thick (0.094")
• Is ½ inch in width
• Our hand-made Leather Sheath “H” is sized to fit this blade with care.
